Cpu dont have audio driver..sound dont work

I did not find a Biostar motherboard model number I945C-M7B or 945GC-M7 on Biostars web site.
I did come across a Biostar 948GC-M7 TE MB;

Create a folder on you're desktop and name it RealTek. Under, On-Board Audio: Download the audio program that matchs you're current operating system. (Windows XP, Vista, Win 2000 ECT).
Once downloaded run the WDM_R236.exe file. Find the Readme.txt for instructions on how to install/uninstall the Realtek audio driver software.

You need to power it up and get it to post, you should have a CD that came with the mobo and cpu, if not download one onto a floppy, flash drive or CD and install like any other driver.

You can find the drivers from your motherboard manufacturer website www.intel.com. when you login to the website navigate to Support & Drivers, there you can search for the drivers by entering the model number of your motherboard. If you couldn't find the drivers then install Driver Max software from www.drivermax.com , after installing the software it will automatically detect the hardware and provides links for the audio drivers. You can download the drives from the links and then install them from the software interface of the Driver Max.

In order to get driver software google " download driver " with your motherboard model for example " download driver intel 845" or you can also visit manfacturer's website to download driver. After installing audio driver for your sound card will start working.

You should be able to call the manufacturer of this motherboard to get the disk. Try to find the customer service number to get a hold of them.

check the chipset of your mainboard...
or visit www.asus.com and select the location from where you are and select driver downloads
