Dishwasher stopped working. No problems prior to this problem. No lights come on in the control panel. Using a multimeter I've proved that power is getting to the switch on the door, and from there to the circuit board. But no lights come on below the buttons on the door. Looks likely to be the circuit board?!!?? What tests can I perform to test the board? Thanks

Some Bosch models have a switch that stops the dishwasher from running when there is a leak. The water collects in the bottom of the machine. Give it a check.

Certainly sounds like the float is stuck in the over filled position or possible a bad float switch. Could also be a bad water fill valve - if you can blow air through it when removed then you need to replace it. You can follow this link to troubleshoot your washer, but note that its not exactly for your model - http://www.thermador.com/replacementparts/main/pdfs/SHU-complete-troubleshooting-guide.pdf Good luck!

SOURCE: drain pump won't stop

that usually happens when there is water in the base of the dishwasher where the motors are. Check to see if there is water in the base. This will trigger a float that turns off the water and on the drain pump.Remove the water and it should fill. However note that water came from somewhere, so find where it is leaking.

SOURCE: Bosch SHU3306UC dishwasher stopped

Make sure you visit the Bosch dishwasher recall website as this model is under the recall with a faulty controller which may cause a fire! Check your model under http://microsites.boschappliances.com/safetyrecall/dishwasher/
then call 800.856.9226 to setup a recall repair appointment. We just found out about this recall and was never notified by Bosch even though we registered our unit after we purchased it...talk about poor customer service! Hope this helps!

Kenmore elite dishwasher stops mid cycle

I assume you mean it stopped in mid cycle and is now dead. If this is the case you will need to turn off the power to the dishwasher and remove the screws holding the front control panel There is a thermal fuse clipped to the front of the control panel Check it using an ohmmeter or continuity tester If it is open you will need to replace it with a kit containing the fuse and wire connectors Do not replace just the thermal fuse the problem will surely return. Also inspect the control board for burned areas. If the control board is burned you should replace the wiring harness with the control assembly

Whirpool dishwasher gu1200xtkq0 stopped in the middle of cycle and it won't start again.

Hello,

what most likely is going to be the problem is a blown thermal fuse that attaches to the control panel housing. gain access to the control panel and use should see the thermal fuse, the housing for the control board is grey and this part is white.Remove the wires to it and check for contininity (ZERO OHMS)on it using a ohm meter set to a low ohms setting. If it turns out to be good the next thing to check is the switch(s) on the latch asm using the same method to check them as the fuse.BEFORE CHECKING EITHER OF THOSE BE SURE TO DISCONNECT POWER TO THE DISHWASHER

Good luck, i hope that i 've helped you to figure out what is wrong with your dishwasher,

Power to dishwasher and will not run

Check your thermal fuse. It will be inside the control panel, clipped to the control board somewhere. It's usually a white plastic square piece with two wires connected to it. The fuse should read a short. If the fuse is blown, you will need to replace it. If the fuse reads good, I would suspect you have a control board problem. Make sure you secure power to the dishwasher BEFORE you take any resistance checks, however. Even if the fuse is blown, you could still have live voltage on one side of the fuse. If you cannot find the fuse, there should be a tech sheet with wiring diagrams inside the lower kick plate below the door. This could be a tremendous help you as well. Let me know what you find.

Problems with Whirlpool dishwasher model GU1500XTKB0

will these units (silo and jtrip) start back on their own? if so, it is likely they are heating the water.
otherwise it sounds like a logic board, unless there is a defective door switch or sensor issue.
electronics seem to be a recurring problem with whirlpool.
i would ask whirlpool (electorlux) to either buy it back or fix it.
good luck
