You can have one of two problems .... firstly ,the condenser ,i.e outside part of the unit could be dirty or inefficient in loosing the excess heat or secondly ,the gas (freon) in the system have leaked out ...if it is the second ,the thinner line of the two leaving the condensing unit will start to get ice forming on it .... let me know if this helps

I have a goodman airconditioning unit, I have my AC set on 75 inside. the unit gives excess water outside the unit and floods my yard..is this normal? any fix?

your unit shouldnt flood your yard .. now check your unit to see where your drain from your unit ( inside)is going .. if that is going outside where your unit is then there is where your water is coming from..

Every 1 minute it has a one second surge

Hello Dave,
The first place to start is with the line voltage supplying the condensing unit. Check ALL line voltage connections at the condensing unit, the service disconnect, and the electrical panel box. If you have a weak connection or overheating circuit breaker, it could create these surges.

Don't forget to ensure the filters and coils are clean to keep your system operating at peak performance & efficiency. :-)
