for old Rangemasters it is difficult to find the original parts, as they have their outside model.
But when you open the switch carefully, you will find 2 switches on a board, one for the light and one for the fan.

the second link gives you a complete unit, so the light switch and the vent switch on a board
The same happened to me. I found a 3-amp fuse which I changed, and now it's ok. I removed the chimney casing and located the electrical connection into the wall. You'll find a fuse unit within the switch which swings out.
hood should be connected to a fused spur outlet which you havent found. try removing the chimney and you may find it there. chimney only held by 2 screws at top usually.the fuse in the outlet sometimes goes when bulbs blow
