Best picture setting is the one which pleases you and is comfortable to your eyes. So pick up the remote control and set the picture to your liking.

Best picture is the picture that pleases you and is comfortable to your eyes. Please go to picture menu and set the picture mode of your liking ie Vivid,Dynamic, Movie and Game or set the level of Contrast, colour, brightness and sharpness of your liking.

Your eyes are normally the best indicators to how a picture will look; just adjust the color and tint so that the people's faces reflect how they look in real life, and do not adjust the picture while a commercial is airing.

hi can i just add? I have recently got this tv but for some reason when i set setting to Normal they reset to dynamic?? After about twenty mins? I keep having to change back to normal or if i set it to perfect brightness etc... it just goes back to dynamic again? i.e cell light 100% and contrast up to 100%!

Best is kind of subjective since each person's eyes are different. If you are looking for a bright and vivid picture, you can go to the picture mode and change it to that setting. Usually it is called something like "Vivid" or "Dynamic." Besides that, it is all user preference. Most people prefer to just use the factory default settings.

It all depends on where the set is located. Try looking in the manual. Samsung has them online for free.

The set may not be at fault. If you are on cable some channels are still in anolog and some are digital. if you are on a nolog channel the picture will look preaty bad compared to the digital ones.
