Error SC 542 indicates a fuser temperature problem. Once the error is detected, the printer is toast until you manually clear the error from the keypad. sc441 error means one or more of the developer unit(PCU) isnt rotating. you have to take the PCU out to see which color isnt rotating. there maybe one of the doctor blade is flipped, usually caused by lack of toner in the PCU.

SC542 is a warm up error from the fuser.
SC 870 is an address book error.
Turn the power off on the copier. Wait 30 seconds and then turn the power back on. See if it goes away.

The only thing you can do is check for any obstructions in the machine.
That needs to be looked at by a service because the problem could be a motor, a pcb, or a power supply.
