When i plug both of the things in my computer in the appropriate holes the mic does not work however the headset itself does work (The sound) got any solutions for this? or is it just broke.
There are 2 seperate plugs 1 for input (mic) and 1 for output (audio) At my dads/sisters pc it works fine but at my computer it doesnt work anymore. it used to work but with very low sound now it doesnt work anymore at all, could it be the driver or so?

I had this problem. The culprit, I suspect, is the sound card or integrated sound chipset. In my case, I was using integrated sound on my motherboard. I recommend updating your sound card or motherboard sound drivers.

Either you have connected to the wrong socket on your computer, or the controls on your computer have not been set up. For example the microphone circuit is switched off or set too low for recording.
I do not understand what you are asking....why would you be using an xbox wireless headset for xbox 360 with a wireless guitar: It would seem to me by the definition the headset is made for xbox 360 unit and not some brand guitar.
You have to firstly test your head phones on another computer.... If it works in another computer than firstly update your anti virus program and then re install your drivers.... If it does not solve the problem you can re plug the cable of sound card on mother board... If problem does not solved than your sound card might have problem.
What happens if you try using your X1 with a PC? The X1's green plug goes to the green Line Out (or Front) jack on your PC, while the X1's pink plug goes to the pink Microphone jack on your PC. If the X1 mic works with your PC, then the problem is the chat/controller cable and replacing it should fix the problem. If the mic doesn't work, then the headset will need to be replaced. Turtle Beach should be able to do that for you...
Don't think its the drivers, because you can hear audio.
Do you have your mic with your headset or separatedly? If with headset, maybe your headset has a physical switch where you can enable/disable mic (seen this feature on some Locitech headsets).
You can also check whether you have Mic muted in your audio control panel. Go to Control Panel, open Sounds and Devices and File - Properties if I remember correctly (sorry, I have Vista now) and put a check before Mic property to bring out the Mic volume level bar to see whether it's muted or not.
go to your sound panel and check to see it is recieving sound, if it is, its the game, if its not, make sure the mic is turned on by the switch on the volume control on the headset itself, then pust the mic jack in all the way as hard as you can, if it works good, if it doesn't it is a hardware issue
Try using your X1 with your computer. Plug the X1 green plug into the green jack on the PC. Plug the X1 pink plug into the pink jack on your PC. Try using the headset to listen to the sound of your voice. Can you hear your voice through the headset? If yes, then the mic is OK but the chat-controller cable needs to be replaced. If not, then you should contact Turtle Beach tech support at [email protected].
