No sound from CDJ-800 MK2

Hi,

Just received two brand new CDJ-800 mk2's and they played fine for about 20 minutes. Then suddenly sound stopped coming from one of the players. Everything else seems to be fine, the LCD shows the cd is being played and all the functions seem to be working correctly. I tried a different channel on he mixer and swapped phono cables but the problem still persists. Can anyone help? thanks

Are you getting error messages? Running in thru LINE? Is not on mute? The possiblity of both not playing would lead to process of elimination.

Keep me posted.

Pioneer cdj 800 mk2 playing mp3s, jogwheel & screen dont work

More than likely the contact pad (aka Membrane pad) is probably damaged... or the flat cable which connects to the main processor, might be loose, or damaged.

You'll need to get this professionally checked out by a qualified technician. It's not an easy fix.

CDJ 800 mk2. Will play audio cd fine but won't play mp3's

There is no easy fix for this. You will more than likely have to have the CD traverse assembly replaced - you could try a professional cleaning and alignment first - but ultimately, you will have to replace the cd assembly.
