14-938 dtv error code - Directv (R10) DTV Receiver / 70-Hours Video Recorder

Auria is not even in the menu here so I had to select DirecTV DVR DTV. Someone needs to keep up with the brands. Anyway, the DTV codes for the Auria EQ5588 are: 11423, 10017,11265, 10178, 10856,11178 These are the codes. Mine worked with the first one.

Hello this is luke. I do not know of any 04 ee error code on dish network. The closest will be 004. Try to check if it is coming from the receiver or from the tv by unplugging the receiver from wall outlet while tv is on. If the code stays, then it is from the tv, if it goes away with the lights on receiver, it is from the receiver. Let me know.

There is nothing about this fault in the manual of your DTV recever. It may be due to the inserted card inside. Contact your service provider to rectify the fault. OK.

I'm using a universal remote with code for an LG 0178 (or 101780 AND IT WORKS

Try a code for a "satellite receiver" of the same manufacturer of your DTV tuner. I've heard of a cross-remote complaint with the DirectTV box and the DTVPal box. Note, your DTV tuner may say RCA, but it could be manufactured by a common DTV tuner maker. The system looks very close to a Zinwell. Don't have an RCA model to try the codes out, though.

delete all recordings from hard drive unplug the receiver from the wall for 5 minutes and plug it back in, if 311 error message appears call dish network

There are two possible codes for this product.
1. Hold the remote away from the DirecTV box.
2. Slide the button on the top to AV 1 or AV 2.
3. Point away from DTV box.
4. Manually turn the DTV box off.
5. Hold down the select and mute buttons at the same time until the light blinks rapidly for a second.
6. Press in one of the following codes and press the power button. 7. If the DTV box turns off, press the select button. If not, repeat steps 5-7

Possible codes: 20573 or 20820

There are no code modules on the box. The box is searching for the appropriate code to download and is not finding anything suitable. Time to call your cable company.
