I am guessing that it could be that the 72 pinconnecter needs to be replaced and try cleaning the game packs out with quips and rubbing alcohol the worst case scenario is that the console could be on its last life then maybe.

Well it might be the av cable or the rf switch or the tv jacks or the rf piece on the TV one time my super NES was in balck grey and white and i thought that it was my Super NES that was doing it but it was the tv jacks. The worse case is that its the console its self the graphics chip might be wearing down.

Well it might be the rf switch that is causing this type of a problem then or if you are using a digital tv you need the av cable for it to work then.

Well I think that the lockout chip is causing this problem and needs to be disabled then there are lockout chip removal movie on youtube that show you then. Just type NES lockout chip removals.

Well it might just be the fact that the NES console is old and ism starting to wearout with the graphics card and the console might be on its last of legs then too.
