Sony Trinitron KV36FS17 lost color. LED blinks 5 times

In standby mode (red led on/after the led stops from blinking), press "Display", "5", Volume (-)", "Power on" on the remote control in sequence, self diagnostic screen will be display, let me know the what is on the screen to diagnose where the fault came from.

I HAVE A SONY TRINITRON KV-36HS510. IM HAVING A PROBLEM,ITS NOT SHOWING A PIC, AND BLINKING 7 TIMES THEN PAUSE FOR A COUPLE OF SECONDS THEN IT WILL BLINK 7 MORE TIMES,I CAN HEAR AUDIO BUT CANNOT SEE PIC. COULD YOU PLEASE HELP ME OUT ,I'VE TRIED CUTTING THE TV OFF FOR ABOUT 6 HOURS AND CUTTING IT BACK ON,SAME RESULTS, THANKS

U have a soldering iron,desoldering pump or a roll of desoldering braids,a roll of solders?Can u do basic soldering and uderstand basic electronic?FBT- the flyback transformer,the big black block of a plastic with a red wire with a cap hook to a CRT-tv picture tube.Near the big block of a plastic with a red wire with a cap hook to a CRT picture tube.Inside to the right of the FBT,there are 2 power supply ICS,those 2 ICS are dead.Replaced these 2 power supply ICS near the FBT,will solved this tv LED power light indication blinking and will have stable tv power again,and tv will work.

Sony tv has self protection program. The red Led blinking light indicate the probable cause location. For this model it is either 2,4 or 5 flashes every 3 second. Please check the blinking again

mt sony trinitron power light is blinking from green to red twise and then pause for 3 seconds and then blinks again from green to red

How many times red light blinks when TV lost picture? There would be interval of 3 seconds in red light blinks so count pause to pause and let me know.

Ur high voltage is dead,FBT,flyback transformer is dead,the big black block of plastice with a red wire with a cap hook to a CRT(tv tube).Resoder for lost green color,by the crt yoke RED GREEN YELLOW connection to the main PCB board.Might also have to resolder crt board connection pins socket.

i have a sony tv model kv36fs17. led flashes 5 times. tv works but no red color. would could be the problem? thanks

in that tv you have surely the color circuit trouble - if you can you have to check  the red color circuit , first transistors then voltage or a capacitor not functioning ,
