NOTE: Drivers Side Spark Plugs on the Drivers Side Front to Back are Your Odd Numbers 1-3-5-7 Pasenger Side is Your Even Numbers From The Front is #2-4-6-8 Is The Rear PLug .

If u can't see the diagram go to the link, just match up the numbers on the coil to the engine cylinder numbers.

The cylinder order is 1,2,3 (rear row, left-to-right) and then 4,5,6 (front row, left-to-right).
When replacing spark plug wires or plugs, it's very helpful to do one at a time to avoid connecting them incorrectly.

Are you sure it's the spark plug that's faulty or the ignition wire?? How old are plugs and wires?
If you don't know if it's your spark plug not firing or your ignition wire you could move spark plug to number 1 then check your code reader.
Or you could do an ohms continuity test on your number 2 ignition wire to verify that there is no break in the wire. Common problem to check for. If wires and plugs are old and high mileage maybe should change all including cap and rotor on distributor. Fresh wires plugs cap and rotor always improve mileage and performance.

The Homelite part number for this spark plug is 870174001. This number crosses to Champion spark plug RCJ6Y which can be bought at any Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, etc for about $3

first you need to figure out which one is number 1. the firing order is counterclockwise 15426378

2.0L SOHC (single overhead cam) AGSF34EE plugs gap 0.054
2.0L DOHC (dual overhead cam) AZFS32FE plugs gap 0.050

The plug numbers are the motordraft numbers
