Reverselight switch reverse light does not come on

European law says that there must be one reverselight and one rear fog light. Car companies either have to give 2*2 reverse and fog light. So to save the cost car companies have one reverse light and one rear fog light which fullfills the law also. In asia there is no such law thats why they have two reverse lights.

If it has reverselights yes. And if not then yes also. You would just have to run a switch to turn it on.

Best if you open the plastic and use voltmeter on the reverse light contacts. Check fuses or worse the reverse switch on the gear handle...

For back up lights no pump, only switch, if stander transmission back up light switch cost about $40.00, for automatic transmission, the neutral safety switch is also what works the back up lights, this switch cost about $95.00.To remove and replace one of these parts and you would only need one of them, labor is .6 tenths of an hour X there labor rate = your labor cost.Hope this was very helpful.

Check the reverse light switch which should be somewhere at the gearbox.
In order to verify tht it is faulty, connect the two wires of the switch with the ignition 'on' the reverselights should work at this point..if not thn the problem could be of the wiring or fuse.
