How to dowload htc touch pc suite Windows doesn't detect the device when it is connected to a USB port so even with Active Sync and Windows Moile PC Suite installed you still cannot communicate with the HTC without the driver. Mine is supplied by Orange who don't have the software and pointed me to HTC who then told me to contact Orange. So I am still searching for a soloution too!

    Well I have been to all their sites and I can't find it! I have found lots of various fixes but not the software fr the PC to communicate with the phone via USB. Have you got a URL for the link?

HTC touch diamond and similar phones use Windows Active Sync if you are using windows xp.

If you are using windows Vista or Windows 7, then you are supposed to use Windows Mobile device center.

You should have this program in your start menu all programs, if not visit http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=46f72df1-e46a-4a5f-a791-09f07aaa1914&displayLang=en

this is the complete, free, pc suite for all HTC and other windows mobile phones.

Free download for usb driver for the htc viva fone

Make sure you have installed Microsoft Activesync in your pc to be able to detect it as modem. install first Active sync than connect it again. also check with other usb ports on your pc.

Download microsoft active sync 4.5 for xp or windows mobile device center ( WMDC ) from the MS official site, install it on your pc, restart , in your touch - active sync- connections-check allow usb connections,then just connect it to your pc with the usb cable.Done.Hope this helps.
