Multimedia Studio and Emodio can be used to make playlists on the computer before transferring them to the player.
you go to the name of the song and you click the button above the right arrow, it should say add to playlist or delete this from playlist. after you click on add to playlist there will be playlist one through five you choose any number and thats how you create a playlist
I've never seen a MP3 player that you can select the order in which multiple songs are played, unless you do it manually or only have the song you want to play on it.

If it is possible - Alba's site sucks - use Windows Media Player to create the playlist, and then drag the playlist to the sync window, and see if it is successful
you could also go to My Computer. then click on your Samsung YPK5. click Internal Storage. click Music. then highlight all the music you want, right click, and Create a Playlist :D works like a charm for meeeee :)
