The earphone is blown. Go to Target or Walmat and buy a new set of what ever you like, They all fit. They even have Philips Brand. If you can stand the wait, go to Ebay and search "Philips Headphones" and you can buy some that look JUST like the OEM E.Phones but are a higher premium sound Quality.
Word to you mother.

Htc headphones distorted in computer

Hello,

Have you tried using your HTC headphones in the other computers?

You can also try checking the connection or the jack if it really fits in correctly.

I bought this Acer aspire 7535g laptop off of my mum's friend which was in great condition when I bought it. The sound was perfect. Every driver was up-to-date. However now... 8 months on, the sound...

You can try booting a live linux CD or thumbdrive and see if that gives you sound. That will give you an idea if it's Windows or a hardware problem. If it's a windows problem try uninstalling and reinstalling your drivers. If that doesn't work keep searching around or just try a fresh install of windows.

My problem concerns my new Philips SBC HC8445 wireless headphones. After using them for some time, the sound starts to cut in and out. First I thought it was because batteries were running low, but after...

after NiCd batteries are recharged many times they develop a memory and will not maintain a charge past the time that they were again put on the charger. If this doesn't make sense, do this: buy new batteries and install them, and keep the old ones for spares

One of my headphones only makes noise when pressed on with force

Sounds like the conductive cable is about to go bye-bye.

My previous in-ear started to behave like this after about a year and a half of use.At first,if I pressed or moved its body around may solved it.But about a week later, the right ear went completely silent regardless how I fussed on it.

If the symptom gets worse and worse as time goes by,you'd better look for the new earphones.

NO sound??

Make sure the volume is turned up sufficiently. If it is, then get it exchanged if still in warranty.
