Reset button location - Riccar 8955 Upright Vacuum

Reset switch is located on the back of the vacuum and close to the back wheels.Press a reset switch a few times and vacuum should start. Check also cord plug . Many times metal prongs are broken at the end of the cord (usually one of them)

the reset button is in the on switch what you need to do is unplug from wall socket then press the on button down hard to reset.

It is on the back of the vacuum towards the bottom.

The reset button is the little white button (approx. 1/16" inch wide) by the sticker.

The reset button on the Riccar 8955 is located on the back of the vacuum cleaner, at the very bottom, right above the rear wheels. You can push the reset button with a ball point pen or something similar.

The reset buttons on the Riccar vacuum cleaners are located at the bottom of the vacuum cleaner in the back, underneath of where the wand sits on the vacuum cleaner.

Here's a picture of a Riccar 8925 which replaced your 8850 a few years ago, but the reset switch will be in the same exact location on all Riccar uprights;

I hope that I was able to answer your question. You can avoid the reset switch flipping in the first place by always ensuring that you change the bags frequently and when full, as well as the motor filter that sits underneath of the bag. Also keeping the vacuum from clogging will prevent this.

Reset button is located in rear near left wheel. A white button, push in with paper clip to reset

Kenmore Model 116, behind the Vacuum cleaner there is a Motor Reset switch which you need to press.
1. Make sure the Vacuum Cleaner is unplugged.
2. Press the reset button gently in with a pen.
3. Plug back the Vacuum cleaner and it should work.

Usually there is a red reset button to push on top of the power head, but some are on the back edge of the powerhead.
