Marantz problems Draw won't open

CD/DVD players use a protocol;
Open tray. Insert disk. Tray switch tells mechacon that the tray is shut. Attempt to focus on disk.
If focus is acheived, then it will spin up and try to read the disk otherwise it will ask for a readable disk.
If the tray keeps opening, I would suspect the tray detect switch is malfunctioning, maybe the drive belt has stretched.

Yes. Most probably belt is broken. Download the service manual from given link and replace the belt as per procedure given in the manual.

Try Plugging it in, Ensuring you have power, Tap the Top and Bottom. IT probably means your DVD is jammed in there.

If this does not work, UNPLUG it and take the cover off and manually open the Door...

Maybe you have to replace the whole solenoide . Or consult a technician

Do you mean the M ( menu) button. If the menu button only have the problem, then there will be issue with its contact. To check the same you have to open that device and have clean the key pad area.If its a micro switch then you have to relapse that switch.

If the system is less than 3 years you still qualify for manufacture warranty, usually it is accumulated dust, you can open the system's case and clean with a dust cleaner can, you can buy at staples, best buy, radioshack, and any major store.

If dust is not the problem than is an electronic problem, there is one electronic component that is in charge of closing the flap at xx speed. i had the same problem on a marantz cd-63 which is virtually identical
and it turned out to be a faulty button on the control PCB.
i replaced it with one out of a scrap PCB and all worked as it should.

I love Marantz! They make quality products that last and sound excellent! Most likely it a dirty lens. When a lens gets dirty, it can't read the cd as accurate. Unplug it, remove the cover, locate the cd lens take a q-tip lightly dipped in rubbing alcohol and rub it lightly on the lens (don't drip it too wet). This should help. Sometimes they also have a weak laser which can cause the same problems, but try the cleaning first.
