This one is easy. Remove the tray then unplug the machine. Wait a full five minutes then put then put the tray back In WITHOUT the box. Plug it back in. It will recycle and the flap will behave again. FYI make sure that each time you remove the grounds you find the screen behind and above the flap and clean it with a wet paper towel. It's the size of a nickle and gets clogged if you don't do this.

A small hinged part came loose from behind soap dispensing drawer. It Looks like a flap to close the main soap channel during prewash. How and where do I put this back?

To the rear and top of the drawar there should be a mechanism to release the drawer, it will need to be depressed, pushed down....then you should be able to pull drawer out in order to check how the flap should go back

How do I relace the drain flapper valve (528625P) on the bottom of the upper drawer in my Fisher Paykel 603?

9.9.1 Remove the drawer front
9.9.2 With the tub opened release the tub clips and push back the
drawer rails.
9.9.3 Carefully release the four wiring cover clips from the front
lower section of the tub taking care not to damage them.
9.9.4 Release the three clips on the underside of the tub which
retain the wiring cover.
9.9.5 Pull the tub fully open and lift it up at the front (this makes it
easier to remove the wiring cover from the rear of the tub).
9.9.6 The wiring cover may now be carefully moved forward to
release it from the rear of the tub.
controller.
.
9.10.6 Unclip the drain hose cuff from the motor assembly taking care not to misplace the non-return flap valve so you know where it sits.
Replace flap valve and refit in reverse order.

Not sure why you need to take the top drawer out if you have already got the bottom drawer out and only need to replace the valve in bottom drawer.

I need to remove a Super Console Drawer from a 2012 Dodge Caravan?

There is a hidden flap door on the front end of the console (in the area where there is a cubby with flexible mesh around it). Like a gas cover, lift up at the point where the flap has a small lip in it. Easy access after that. This only involves the large pull out drawer. Wish I could say I was smart enough to figure this out but, in reality, pushing on the sliding drawer forced the dvd case trapped inside to push forward and pop open the flap.

Why does the conditioner drawer not empty

If you remove the drawer and pull up the flap that has 'max' written on it, checked that the two cylinder parts are clear, especially the larger of the two as the fab cond and water are drawn up the side of these when they are together by capillary action (make sure when you close the flap down the large cylinder sits over the small on and the whole thing clips into the main body of the drawer). While you have the drawer out, look into the top of the dispenser housing (in the machine) look in the middle above where the fab cond chamber would be if the drawer was in, you will see four small rectangular cut outs, this is where the water flows during the final rinse. Get a medium size cable tie and push it through each of the holes, giving it a wiggle as you push it in (if the cable tie is long enough you will see the end appear at the back of the chamber). This will clear the channel of gung. Replaced the drawer and run a rinse cycle. This will send water through the channels to flush them completely. Hope this helps

C5 machine stuck and can't put drawer back in. i may have opened the draw during the shut off process

If the drawer is stuck and cannot be put back in then put everything back except for the coffee grind bucket. That works for me. Press the power button to switch it off and then back on again and you can removed the drawer and put the bucket part back in again.

Why is water remaining in the fabric softener drawer?

There is a FLAP which acts to prevent backflow into the fabric softener compartment. It is usually synthetic rubber, and covers the end of a tube (from the fabric softener compartment, and is usually cut at an angle. The flap opens to permit the softener to flow out, but apparently is not 'flapping back' to prevent backflow. Best thing is to check that flap, and possibly it is prevented from 'flapping back' by lint or some other bit of fabric/thread/tissue left in a pocket, &tc.

I am having problems with the bottom drawer not draining in my Fisher Paykel dishwasher. How do I drain the water? the last time a repair man came for this same problem, he was able to punch the keys in a...

You can do 2 things: If this problem persists it means that the "flap" that prevents the water from draining into the drawer needs to be replaced, unfortunately this is a common problem with this model if you are a frequent user. In the meantime what the tech does to empty the drawer is to run the shortest cycle which will empty drawer but you know if you need the "flap" to be replaced if the problem persists.

The drawer will not drain down. there is no warning symbol after the cycle, but always water in the bottom. I have emptied the water and tried the cycle again but the same result. How do you drain this...

If you have already emptied the drawer and it continues to happen then it means you need to have a tech out to replace the "flap". The flap prevents water from re-entering the drawer unit, when water isn't able to empty it means the flap needs to be replaced which is a common problem with these models. It occurs when you are considered a "heavy" user as well as someone who rarely uses their unit (someone in a vacation rental).

OPEN TAP message is displayed and the machine will not work

Instructions from Capresso:
-pull out the drawer
-look inside the unit where the drawer has been removed and look for a flap (it's really the first thing you see on the left side)
-without moving the flap, reach your hand under it and up until you feel a flat surface
-this surface will have grounds on it
-feel for screw in middle
-take paper towel and wipe off grounds
-repeat until paper towel is clean
-replace drawer and done!
-do this about once a week to prevent this

Fisher & paykel 2 drawer unit

yes there is. It is just inside the white hoses that drain the system. 1 per drawer. They cost about $0.50 but are a real pain to get to. This flap will go bad in about 3-5 years and maybe sooner depending on the temp of the water used.

If the bottom flap goes bad, using the top drawer will drain into the bottom drawer.
