F 7 usually means a stuck circuit in the touch control. In laundry it pertains to the door lock release function.

Try running the diagnostics to narrow the problem down.
Could be a stuck key on the keypad.

Locking controls
The Control Lock prevents unintended use of the washer. You
can also use the control lock feature to prevent unintended cycle
or option changes during a cycle. When CONTROL LOCKED is
lit, all buttons are disabled. You can lock the washer while it is
operating.

To lock the controls
Select and hold END OF CYCLE SIGNAL for 3 seconds.
The CONTROL LOCKED status light glows.

To unlock the controls
Select and hold END OF CYCLE SIGNAL for 3 seconds until the
CONTROL LOCKED Status light turns off.

This means locked rotor. you have a bad motor control unit. take the door off by removing the 4 screws also take the side/front panel off. You will see the motor control board. Do you have a delay wash cycle? If you do set it to delay wash remove the jp4 connector if the unit tumbles on it's own then the motor controller is fine but if it does not then you have a bad motor control board. Check it out and let me know. also there is a fuse on that board if you can locate it and check for continuity that will also help diagnose it. MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG IT FIRST THOUGH!!!!

find button with lock emblem underneath hold in for 3-5 sec should release control panel lock may be no good reason but they have been known to lock because they want too remember your dealing with a computer any random signal may cause this if all elese unplug for 20-30 min and retry

Try pressing and holding the "End of Cycle Signal" button at the bottom right corner of the control panel. This works for me!

On the far right sode of the control panel there is a unlock control reset button. Hold it for 3 seconds and the fault will clear.

you need a new cpu you can unlock door by removing bottom panel reaching up to the door lock and pulling a little ring on the bottom will manualy unlock the door

It seems as an overload issue. The machine has an overload switch to protect the motor. Take the comforter out and operate the machine,it should work fine. Good luck!
