I put my kfx700 in time on the rear cylender and it is blowing back through the carb

if you jumped time or broke the chain then it sounds like a bent intake valve. you'll have to take the head off to straighten it.

Does a Goodman DSXC180601 5-ton A/C unit require a hard start? System has a TXV. I have been told hard starts could void the warranty

hard starts are not mandatory but they do help to save the compressor if it is having a hard time starting
its just a boost to help it start
and it shouldn't void your warranty they are to help it start nothing else

93 gmc jimmy hard starting

"Hard starting" is a very vague description of the problem. There are MANY things that can make an engine hard to start - ranging from a weak battery to a bad fuel pump, to worn-out spark plugs or a plain, worn-out engine...

The only "solution" I can offer at this point, would be to recommend doing some diagnostics to determine at least which system in your vehicle is the cause of the hard starting.

My hard drive is "hanging up" and sometimes does not start. The computer will start, keyboard light momentarily lights but hard drive will not start. The only way I can seem to get it started...

There is a possibility your hard drive is failing.Go to the website of your hard drive manufacturer and download a diagnostic utility. Run the diagnostic utility to determine whether the hard drive is in good condition.
