Both front power windows stopped working

Both front power windows on a 1997 Volkswagen Jetta stopped working at the same time. Sounds like a fuse or relay. Where can I get a diagram of fuses and relays and a listing that tells me what each one does?

2001 Volkswagen Jetta. The fuse that powers the central locking system the power windows and the sun roof keeps blowing every time I put it in what should I do?

You need a mobile auto electrician to diagnose and find where in those items the dead short is. They will disconnect items one at a time until they find the one that is causing it.

I have a 96 VW Jetta and the driver side window stopped working. All the other windows still work. When the button is pressed it sounds like it tries to move but then stops. Any ideas

The window regulator may need replaced. A common problem for power window vechicles on the driver window, as to that window is most commonly used..

My 1997 Jetta power windows automatically engage and

yes this does happen, try disconnecting the battery and joining the leads together ,this often resets it other than that its either a new drivers door lock or the dealers to have it re programmed

1992 Volkswagen Power Windows

I had this problem with my :Passat last week. Remove the switch from the driver's door. Carefully take it apart, the top is just a snap fit over the bottom and the clips are on the sides, not the ends. Look carefully at the circuit board for signs of corrosion. That's your problem, just replace the switch.
