My GE washer wont stop filling in any cycle. Even if you pull out the plug. Leaks everywhere. I blew into water level switch hose and it clicks. Model number WBXR1060T. Thank you

If water continues to fill and you have unplugged the washer from the wall then your fill valve is stuck open and needs to be replaced. Turning off the water at the wall faucet should stop the water. The fill valve is what the hoses are attached to at the washer.

When the water has reached it's proper level, the hot water turns off, but the cold water keeps filling until the water overflows the basket

Try this. With the wash tub empty, start to fill with water. Without turning washer off, unplug the washer from wall.

If water filling stops (hot and cold), then you are looking at a bad timer assembly. Replacement isn't that hard, parts can be difficult to find though.

If water continues to fill, your valve body / solenoid assembly is likely full of lime-scale. Easily replaced.

Will not stop filling with water and does not agitate

If you can unplug the washer and the washer keeps filling with water, then the control valve assembly is shot and needs to be replaced (not hard, just takes a bit of time).

If you unplug the washer and water stop filling, then there is a problem with the timer switch and / or water level sensor. Timer switch is not big deal to replace either (easier than valve assembly, but costs more). Level sensor hard to replace since located near the top of the basket inside the washer.

If washer doesn't fill with water until you start a cycle, and then won't stop filling, then it is level sensor, or possible timer issue.

You can probably get replacement parts from local appliance shop, as well as some pointers on how to change the parts based on above testing.

Washer wont stop filling even when its washing. GE

Replace water inlet valve, it's stuck open. You may try removing hoses to valve and see if something is holding it open

GE top load Washer won't stop filling or spinning

Remove the plastic hose from the water level switch and blow through it until it flows freely.
If it does not clear this way. Remove the front panel.putty knife needed.
Remove the water level tube from the tub and clean out the gunk.
Reconnect it to the water level switch.
Set the machine to spin and run it.
Reset water level control and try your machine.

My GE washer wont stop filling with water or go to the wash cycle. my GE top load washer water will not stop and leaks out, overflows. model #GCXRPO9ODAWW.

You have a problem with the water level switch.  It is located in the base of the machine below the tub.  Replace it and you'll be fine.

GE Model WBSE2090A2WW - shut off intermittenly

Does the machine drain on its own or do you drain it manually? The drain pump may be jammed or seized. Try giving the door a light bang with your hand on the handle. The door interlock could be faulty. If the machine starts up after you hit it with your hand on the door handle, the interlock is faulty. Good Luck!!
