Lens misallignment due to worn out gears on focus adjustment (zoom in/out), needs repair but could be expensive and not reliable enough.

My cannon power shotA4000IS suddenly stop showing/focused pictures the scree show a blurred image of photo taken?

If you are convinced you did not switch the camera to manual settings, and the blur stays, please contact the nearest Canon certified service centre close to you. But before check the settings on the camera and start putting it on automatic.

Blurred photos

You should check to ensure the camera is set on Auto Focus. Might be a switch on the body.

I have Nikon Coolpix s9500 and in almost all mode I have blurred picture. What is wrong in my camera?

Is there any mode you have a picture that is ok? Are the pictures blurred on the monitor screen, or also on the computer?
Do you shoot with the focus assist to auto?
Are you shooting in dark areas, without vibration reduction?
Did you try motion detection.
As you can see lots of questions.
Try to put the camera in the factory settings and start over again taking pictures. Please describe as correct as possible what you get and what you don't get. And how you did use the camera.
Hope this helps a bit.

Hello, I have fuji finepix F50fd camera. It suddenly takes blurred pictures. The lens is clean and there are no messages on the screen. Can't remeber dropping it or damaging it in any way. Regards, Sofia

Welcome to FixYa.

There are three reasons why do you get a blurred images.

1. The camera lens is dirty
- clean the lens with soft and dry cloth
2. AF frame (lit red) and !AF appeared when taking pictures.
- check the focus on the subject and take pictures
3. A small camera icon appeared when taking pictures
- It may cause camera shae. Hold the camera steadily.Use flash photography. A tripod may be recommended, depending on the scene and mode.

Blurred pictures

if this is digital camera then the batteries have nothing to do with blurry pictures, however replacing them could cause all of your settings to be changed back to factory default. Make sure you are in the camera's auto mode, this can be a switch of a knob, and enable the flash and you should be taking crisp photos in no time,

try using a different setting on the camera for these pictures, use the scene selection and choose night scene.

Pictures are blurred around the edges

Have you tried to change the settings like to scenery or adjusted for lighting that could have an effect. The only time it's blurry for me is when I don't adjust for the picture I am taking. The camera itself focuses so maybe there hasn't been enough time for it to focus. Try those things and if it doesn't work I would take it in to a camera shop maybe it has internal problems.
