So how do you fix the problem? Or where do you get a power relay? Hisense says they no longer manufacture that TV. It's a Delta Electronics part

Hi I have a sony kp-53HS10 TV. When i turn it on it use to make a clicking noise and than the tv would turn on, but now the clicking noise is gone and nothing comes on. A red light under the tv stays on....

Sounds like a Power Board / Video Board issue - stand by power is still ok - and why you have a red light - but the set is unable to power up the panel to drive a picture. Or the video board is the issue an is no longer processing the image to your panel. Based on the clicking noise - I lean towards the power board as the issue.

Tv makes a clicking sound when i turn it on but wont turn on

if just only clicking sound that was mean the cause either the regulator in the power supply is bad or the horizontal output transistor get damaged.

When I turn on the unit, all it does is makes a clicking/ticking noise...nothing else happens...i have a magnavox mpd845 portable dvd player

okay that clicking is from the relay switch..its just because either the micro chip, regulator horizontal output..or some other component in the power supply is not working..so your tv cant come on that is the reason you are hearing the clicking sound.you need to take your tv to a tech so that it can be repaired.good luck.

Tv shuts off tv/video doesnt work

that is a indication that a fault is about to occur, dont force that tv take it to a technician before it switches off completely, a power supply is supposed to be checked.

Tv won't turn on

Most likly it is a problem in the power supply regulator circuit. pretty common for Toshiba TV sets. If you know about TV serviceing, first thing to replace would be the regulator IC as that is the problem 80% of the time. if that does not help then you will need a schematic to trace out the regulator circuit. Good Luck PS please dont forget to rate this thread.
