How to fix a hacked face book account

1 log in to face book and near your profile picture is edit profile click on it on the right hand of the dropdown screen is contact information go to emails and follow instructions.

If you recently deactivated your account then it is normal that these problem occurs after activation so wait for few days or contact Facebook help center for this issue through a form.
if this not the case then it might be possible that your account has been hacked by someone and that person deleted you profile picture and removed your friends from your friend list.

send that message to facebook not here, ask them to reset your password , they will then email you a link click on the link and enter a temporary password, then go into your profile settings and change your password to your old password

Face book is safe if you use it safely.To be on the safe side, you just need to change your privacy settings from" everyone on face book" to "only friends" or"friend's friends". In this way ever one o face book will not have access to your profile and pictures and only your friends will be able to view them. Hope this helped you. hi, depending on how long you have been with face book would depend on the kind of problem you could be having if your face book is new like only been using the site a couple of days then all you need to do is wait until your account has been activated properly then you will have no problems using this feature.

If you have been using face book for a while then this feature could have been taken away due to abuse such as somebody trying to access your account and add or remove friends without you knowing in this case you need to contact face book and ask them why a block has been put on your account.

the only other reason this would have been removed is if you have been giving someone some abuse and a complaint has been made against you but dont worry to much as it could just also be an error with the site or even downtime with facebook servers as this can cause all sorts of problems.

Now if you problem has only happened today then try logging out then back in again after about 30 min ir so then if your still having the problem then wait 24 hours then try logging back in again and see if anything has changed, if how ever this problem has been going on for a few days then you need to get in touch with face book and ask them why a block has been put on your account to stop you using the add friend feature, you may just find this is an error on their side and they will let you know what their going to do and how to solve your problem.

Dont worry to much you will probably find the problem will solve itself within 24 hours if not please get in contact with face book and ask them whats going on.

You have to be able to login to delete your profile.

Use the forgot password link and get into your profile. If that doesnt work, just create a new profile.

Facebook will not just delete your profile without some way to verify you own it else people would tell them to delete random profiles all the time of people they dont like or want to mess with.
