Login windows 7 embedded administrator

If you forgot the password of the system, the official answer is NO, there is no way to get the password back. However, if you have another user account who has Administrator rights, such as Domain Admin account if the computer joins domain, you may try to use this user account to login to the computer and then reset the local administrator password. If no, you have to reinstall the system.
I don't think you wanted to here this but that is why the admin account is protected. So no one can get into it...

I am having problem getting the Web site feature for remote access to the switch.

if the switch doen't display the Web interface, you might have 2 issues.

1) network port 443 is closed on your network... open it and test again.

2) the DSR was part of a DSView setup and has a Security Certificate and the Web Interface is blocked internally. To clear this you will have to access the Console (Comp port) and go into Security and Unbind from DSView, or clear Security Token (Depending on Firmware).

I hope that helps

Cannot add user in win 7 via cmd. System error 234

In order to make it work, you will need to open super administrator option following steps below:

Right click on CMD / Command Prompt , choose "Run as Administrator" on popup box click on "Continue".
Now type in Net user administrator /active:yes and press Enter.

It will show you "The command completed successfully".

Now try adding new user. Once you are done, please disable administrator option again following same as before, just little change in command as below:

Net user administrator /active:no

That's all. I hope you can do it.

This is only possible is you are using Windows XP. If your operating system is windows Xp, follow the steps below:

  1. Turn on your laptop and allow it get to the stage where is will ask for user/log password
  2. Press Ctrl + Alt + Del your keyboard.
  3. A user name and password prompt will pop up.
  4. On the user name type in "administrator
  5. On the password, type in "administrator"
  6. and you windows will open, go to control panel from there to change the password.
That's all. In other words, the user name and password is administrator.

But in the case of windows Vista, you will have to re-run windows operating system, because vista security is very tight.

When i am signing in it displays "YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN LOCKED"

Hi,

You will need to login as an administrator or a different account that has admin rights.

Once logged in, you need to go to the control panel> Administrative Tools> Computer Management (If XP)

OR Start, type in Computer Management in the Search Window (if Vista/ Windows 7)

Once in Computer Management, expand System Tools> Local Users and Groups> Click on Users

On the right hand side, double click on the user account that is locked and untick the box that says Account is Locked

Hope that answers your query, Pls rate this answer

Left my old company and took my personal computer with me. However I can't get it to work because everything is lock out by old company and they won't remove their rights??

Hi,

You have two options that may work. Can you log in with your old username and password to the system? If so, and if you have sufficient rights with that user account, you can remove the domain and join a work group. **Before doing that, create an administrator account that you know the username and password for.

The second thing is to see If you can log in locally with that administrator account? If so, then you can access anything on the hard drive, and you can change the domain to a work group. On the log in screen, you should see username, password, and domain. Change the domain to the local system, and use administrator to log in, if you are lucky, the password could be blank. Or maybe (not likely though, they would give you that password. If not there are ways to hack it.

If you get to that point, or if you need assistance trying my suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks
