Cannot initialize renderer cause d3derr not available

There is a possibility that this issue might be related to DirectX. Try following the below steps which might help:

(1)Click start and select run.
(2)Type regedit, click ok and select yes.
(3)Goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE?SOFTWARE..> MICROSOFT..> DIRECTX
(4)Now right click on DirectX and delete it.
(5)Restart the computer.
(6)Download the latest direct X

This should help.

What do you mean by "reverse picture"? is it a negative or is the picture show left as right? And have you tried to set the image in the options menu?
