I CAN NOT SYNC DATA TO PC FROM MY LG MOBILE PHONE KG800.
THE LG SOFTWARE IS PROPERLY INSTALLED ON PC & COM3 PORT IS SET FROM OPTION MENU OF LG PC SYNC SOFTWARE.
EVEN WHEN I SELECT COMMAND READ THAN MESSAGE "CONNECTING, LOADING DATA, CLOSING PORT" ARRIVES BUT AFTER THAT FAILED TO READ MOBILE DIALOG BOX APPEAR.
KINDLY GUIDE ME.

THE PC ASK ME INSTALL SOFTWARE CD,WHEN I PURCHASE MOBILE THERE IS NO CD ONLY DATA CABLE,I GOT.

Install the driver from CD getted with the phone and the driver installs are complete,connect the lgkg800 on USB and with driver installed can use the cell phone for modem.
I too did manage to make the phone appear as a Windows modem by enabling the modem in the settings of the phone itself, but I still cannot get PC Sync to read anything from the modem. First I get
"Cannot open COM 3 port"
then
"Failed to Read Mobile ".
Sadly,
1) LGE does not provide any documentation worthwhile
2) LGE does not provide an updated version of the software.
3) LGE has not got an online forum / No help is available on the net.

FIRST OPEN MAIN MENU OF PHONE, THAN SELECT SETTINGS, THAN SELECT CONNECTIVITY, THAN SELECT MODEM & THAN SELECT YES TO ACTIVATE THE MODEM FUNCTION.
ALWAYS PLUGGED YOUR USB DATA CABLE WITH YOUR PC AFTER DOING ABOVE PROCEDURE.
AFTER PLUGGING DATA CABLE WITH PC & MOBILE PHONE DO FURTHER AS MENTIONED UNDER:
NOW OPEN YOUR LG PC Sync SOFTWARE IN YOUR PC, IN
LG PC Sync SOFTWARE SELECT OPTION, THAN SELECT COMMAND COM PORT UNDER OPTION MENU & THAN CLICK OK (AFTER SETTING COM PORT).
NOW YOU CAN USE YOUR MOBILE PHONE BOOK, SCHEDULE & MEMO.
ALWAYS READ FIRST YOUR MOBILE IN LG PC Sync SOFTWARE & THAN INTERCHANGE YOUR DATA WITH PC SYNC (I.E. PC SYNC <====== MOBILE).
AFTER READING YOUR MOBILE COMMAND BUTTON "<<" & ">>" WILL ALWAYS BE ARRIVED (APPEARED).

Even after following all the steps as written by MT2100, the LGsync cannot read/ connect to the cell phone? Am I doing something wrong?
i make use of draw pattern to open the phone but unforunately so many pattern was attempt in openin the phone,which made the lG E400 to request for a gmail acct and password...in which i hve tried typin in but stil its not openin cos my data is off and cant connect to d Gmail acct...pls can u gve mi an alternative steps of unlockin my Gmail witout d data on.....
