Page 51 (pages 53 of the PDF file) explains how to store phone numbers in the phonebook -- which you can then call with 1-touch dial.

all cell phone do this, but you can force the speed dial to #2 thru #9...
(for example to find who is in speed dial position number 49 press 49# on cell)
