SOURCE: what yr is my Epiphone valve junior serial number 11050738

The first 4 digits of the serial number are the date code MMYY (MM=month, YY=year). Version 2 Valve Juniors have date codes starting at "0106" January 2006 up to June 2007 when version 3 was released. I don't have any serial info on the series 3 yet.

Where will I find a schematic with wattage values for all the resistors

Use this in Google to fine manuals and schematics:
Epiphone junior amplifier manual Google zoeken
Most resistors are 1/4 watt, unless something is added in the schematic.
You also can deduce the wastage, because for every size is a wattage, or the other way around.
When you are not sure, and it fits, use a bigger resistor. The same resistance (ohm) but a higher wattage is no problem as long as it fits in the housing.

Nope... not convienent and NOT safe... Carry a spare amp is best solution. or a spare speaker cabinet.

This bass squels if you have a bass head and cabinet. i had a 100W amp and it played fine then upgraded to a head/cab. tryed playing it with loud volume, squels. anyway to fix this?

Turn down the treble gain and mid gain... you don't need it for a bass. Prevent the guitar from "hearing" the output of the amp directly. The guitar strings make a good microphone.

The Tolex covering loves to stick... Take a dull blade and go all around the edges... then a bit of prying will likely be required.

How do I remove the rear panel to access the fuse? When I remove the six or seven screws, the panel still refuses to budge.

If the fuse blew, the problem causing that needs to be fixed BEFORE replacing the fuse. Replacing a fuse without fixing MAY damage further components that the fuse protected.

Often the Tolex covering makes removing panels difficult and one has to pry the panels out.
