Unplug the heater. remove the screws holding the control panel, pull the control out from the body of the heater enough to get the probes of an ohmmeter onto the connections that lead to the heating element. the ohmmeter should read less than 100 ohms. if the ohmmeter reads infinite ohms (open circuit), the heating element or the connections to it ate bad. if the heating element is bad, cheaper to buy a new heater. if the heating element is okay, repair connections or control.

Pepinos radiator heater HO-0218H power light isn't coming on and not heating. Caution light is working however

If your Pepinos heater model HO-0218H is not heating and the power light is not coming on, while the caution light is working, it suggests that there may be an issue with the power supply or the heating element. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to address the problem:
1. Check the power source: Make sure the heater is properly plugged into a working power outlet. Verify that the outlet itself is functioning by testing it with another device. If the outlet is not providing power, try plugging the heater into a different outlet.
2. Inspect the power cord: Examine the power cord for any visible damage, such as cuts, frayed wires, or loose connections. If you notice any issues, it's important to replace the power cord or have it repaired by a qualified professional to ensure safe operation.
3. Reset the heater: Some heaters have a reset button or switch. Look for a reset button on the unit and press it to reset the heater. If there is no reset button, you can try unplugging the heater from the power source for a few minutes, then plugging it back in to see if that resets the internal circuitry.
4. Check the thermostat: Ensure that the thermostat is set to a temperature that would activate the heater. Turn the thermostat to the highest setting and see if the heater starts working. If the thermostat is faulty, it may need to be replaced.
5. Clean or replace the filter: If your Pepinos heater has a filter, it may be clogged with dust and debris, restricting airflow and causing the heater to malfunction. Clean or replace the filter according to the manufacturer's instructions.
6. Consult the user manual or contact customer support: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it's advisable to refer to the user manual that came with your heater. The manual may provide specific troubleshooting steps or contact information for customer support. Reach out to the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance and guidance.
If you are not comfortable performing the troubleshooting steps yourself or if the heater is still not functioning properly after attempting the troubleshooting, it's recommended to contact a qualified technician or an authorized service center for professional assistance. They will have the expertise and tools to diagnose and repair the heater accurately.
Remember to prioritize your safety and never attempt any repairs or internal inspections of the heater while it is connected to a power source.

1994. Why is there no power on fuse that controls cluster lights, a/c and heater controls, cigar lighter light and ash receiver light, radio lamps and overdrive?

Looks as if it is a 4amp fuse and power comes from the headlight switch. Do park lights work? Looks as if 20amp fuse to headlight switch controls park lights and possibly power supply through switch to 4amp fuse. This diagram is for a 6cyl and should be the same as an 8cyl. Hope it helps

No readout on on board. No on light when pushing on pool button

No power being sensed, check main.
if power to heater, check for voltage at transformer: both primary and secondary.
if primary reads whatever voltage you supplying heater, then check secondary, if 0, bad transformer. If 24-28 volts, then circuitry is bad, further diagnostics required.

I have a 1997 prowler can't get hot water heater to light

Insects commonly get into the gas supply line just behind the lighting orifice. Try blowing out the line with compressed air. This sometimes requires disassembly of the supply line. This is assuming you have tryed the proper lighting method that the MFG instructions list on the gas device you are lighting. Also check to see if you have a electrical powered gas valve. And if you do make sure that it has power going to the valve allowing it to open when it's calling for gas.

Why does red light on "on" button stay on?

Hello,
The reason the red light on your rinnai vent free gas heater stays on simply is because it is having power on it, if it is unplugged, it will go off, or if you turn off the switch from the power outlet, then it will go off too.
As long as there is power supplied to the rinnai vent free gas heater, the power light will remain on.
Take care and good luck
