Factory reset Getting sound but no video how do we do a factory restart

Your LED backlights are bad and need replacing, reason you do no have sound now has to do with not being able to see the screen to set the TV to the correct input

Try a factory reset. Sounds like software malfunction. But as above said, could just he battery. You will loose all info with a reset

Hi dadhan, do a factory reset 2 - 3 times in a row and turn the phone off for at least 10 sec then on again, then do a factory reset. Hope it works for ya. Greg.

I recomand a factory reset.
go to settings -> backup and reset -> FACTORY RESET

To reset theHT-R520 to its factory defaults, turn it on and, while holding down the [VIDEO 1] button, press the [STANDBY/ON] button. "Clear" will appear on the display and theHT-R520 will enter Standby mode.

Check to make sure that your MEDIA sound is on, this is separate from the ringer volume.
this can be checked in: settings -> sounds -> Volume -> media volume
if this is not the issue i suggest following these troubleshooting steps. as it may be a software or hardware issue with your sound card.
1. Remove Battery, Restart phone. repeat at least twice.
2. Check to see if the sound will work for other videos or media applications
3. Perform a hard/factory reset.
a. for most android phones the path will be Settings -> Privacy -> Factory Reset b. Follow the prompt to reset your phone to factory settings.
c. Make sure to back up all you data, on most android phones contact information and paid apps will be backed up on google's servers. your pictures and video will be saved on your SD card as well.
d.There are applications such as Titanium Backup available in the android market that will perform full backup services for your entire phone.

4. Contact a service representative of your carrier or take the device into your carriers store, most of the time they will recomend doing a hard reset as shown above, they will NOT replace a device without doing a factory reset on the phone.

You might need to reset the Xbox to factory defaults.

Restart it by holding power and the sync button, and it will do this automatically. Hopefully this will solve your problem.

First, try a factory reset and see if that resolves your problem. I'm afraid that will wipe all the data on the phone, but you will have to do that anyway if you want to solve this problem.

1. Press and hold the OK and Rotate Screen buttons.

If you have done the above and still no go. Then your main drive has probably failed.
