you need to run the detection wizard again. On 64 bit Windows Vista the path is:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech\WMDrivers\WMWizard.exe
This fixed my problem. I hope it helps you.

SOURCE: Logitech Profiler does not detect my logitech dual

Hi, Please uninstall any LGPS version present on your OS - Then please proceed to clean boot. -> Unplug any USB devices connected to the computer ( Less keyboard + mouse ) If you have a corded keyboard + mouse please use it rather than a cordless device. -> Go to device manager -> Delete all the USB HOST CONTROLLER -- All of them -- -> The host controller might reinstall them itslef, let the computer handle the reinstallation -> If the computer does not reinstall the host controllers, trigger the detection using the DM function " Scan for new hardware " ( The computer with magnifier icon ) -> Once reinstalled, clean boot -> Reinstall the software, plug the hardware when needed. -> Should work.
If a device as been previously flagged with error, it will redetect the device without the flag, unless there is some serious issue with the hardware/OS
If the problem persist, swap computer and try, if it does not solve then contact customer service for replacement
Thanks and have a nice day Julien

Not Working

I am assuming you are using a PC . If So .. You most likely need new new drivers . You can get all your needed drivers free here . https://www.iobit.com/en/driver-booster.php .
Scan your computer after download , and click update on each category of your system .When you get an activation ( Current or Pro ) Window ....click the Grey update button each time for each category .. That way you get them for free . After you complete all you drivers your good . I also recommend a good defragger . Here is one that is dependable and with no malware ( https://www.glarysoft.com/disk-speedup/ ) .Use it daily .

I just bought the logitect dual action usb controller and it came with no download instructions. where would I go to find the correct download for the controller?

I would try Logitech's website first, then if not found I would go to www.driverguide.com. I have a Logitech gamepad that I bought new and Windows detected mine and setup it up correctly without having to find a driver somewhere else.
