Hello; I have run a TV repair business for 34 years now. That whole plasma screen is under a very high vacuum just like a light bulb or neon sign tube. If there is a crack anywhere on it, air from the room will quickly rush in, making it impossible to light up. This Plasma panel will cost more than the set sold for. Time to buy another set and maybe protect it with a sheet of Plexiglass cut to your screen size. John
P. S. cracked screens are never covered by warranty, but you might check your homeowners ins. or credit card if you used one to buy the set. Also if that crack is in the plastic cabinet and not the glass screen your set my still be repairable.

hi good day welcome to fixya
lets verify first to narrow down where the problem came from, now when the indicator is flashing then doesn't steady to green that is mean their is something error detected by the main board that is why won't turn on. at this point you will need to apply trouble shooting so first you need to open the back cover of the tv unit to access the internal part make sure you have the proper tools and device. now turn the tv on then while the indicator is flashing you need to check the output voltage of power supply if all present the 5v stand by,5v switch,12v and 24v. then check the PS_ON voltage from the main board going to power supply if not available their is a problem with the processor. then at the same time you need to have a INV_ON voltage going to inverter ballast if also no voltage around 3.3v then it was confirmed you have bad processor. check also bad component at inverter ballast a shorted component will cause the main board to shut off. hope this will help just let me know if it works thanks for consulting the fixya.

I have not repaired this model. My first thought are bad capacitors in the power supply board. If you do have the exact board to replace. I would certainly do so. Numbers check and you say they are the exact same, should be an easy fix. If this board came out of another TV of the same model, you must remember, it will have the same longevity as the board that does not work. I would compare the boards, and look for bad capacitors on the board that does not work of course. You may check the capacitors with an ESR meter (about 50 to 75 bucks). The purchase and price of one of these will pay for itself. You can fix other electronics. Thanks for asking Alan. I'll be here if you have more questions.
