I can't get any channels to work on my tv. it doesn't let me add any channels or do any settings to any channel after my wife reset all settings to farctory default

You have to auto scan tv, catv, cadtv before you will get channels depending on what type of setup you have. Some cable systems are analog feed and some are digital only. The scan can take 30 min or so to finish.

Channel scan only finds 1 channel with basic cable setup on LG 42LD520

if you have a cable box just plug the cable box into a scart socket on the tv, switch the tv to the scart input and use the cable remote to change channel?Scanning for channels wont find anything because you are receiving the channels on a cable box. If you are refering to standard or digital tv signals and your not receiving any channels then either you are only scanning analogue tv and therefore wont pick up any digital tv channels, or your ariel is inadequate to receive an acceptable digital reception and will need to be upgraded. please state country you are in and what you are expecting to receive

I have a 19" magnavox

Do you have a digital converter box. If not, you need to get one to receive the analog channels.

My Sharp Flat Panel Television LC19SB25U has Picture but No Audio

Sharp has had a few problems with their audio boards, not finding any bulletins on this model, but a few complaining about low audio on amazon reviews section. If using an antenna you will experience some channels with low audio. If using cable you should get good sound on all channels..
the 9.1 and 9.2 are digital channels and sharp does display them for at least a few seconds when you switch to that channel. Check all your setting in the audio to Stereo never SAP. To options for you are get a cable box, first check in the back and see if there is another coax in, if there are two try both rescanning after connecting.

It is not picking up the channels , i have cable and no channnels are working at all,not even the local channels.when am changing the channel it starts at DTV then TV,then CADTV,and then CATV

Sounds like you may have a stuck button on the tv causing uncontrolled selection or the Main bd is bad. Try hooking up a different source such as a DVD player to the same input on the tv. If the tv works ok you might have a bad cable Box as well.

XL1s and 4 channel audio

Hi!
Unfortunately, Premiere Pro CS3 can only handle two channels of audio at a time when capturing. You could try capturing with Scenalyzer or another program that can handle four channels simultaneously.
Hope this helps!

Digital Television Transition and Public Safety Act of 2005

I take it you are trying to get a HD digital signal from an antenna. If that is the case, you will have to go to the menu and have it scan for antenna signals. It should automatically pick up digital channels as you scan. There may be a box to select to prefer a digital signal as well which you should have marked. It takes some time and the channels may not appear instantly. If you dont get the channels, you may need a more powerful antenna.

Can't transfer dubbed audio (secondary sound) using firewire.

Audio Dubbing on DV: Here's how you do this: Play your tape on the TRV-9 and feed the signal into the TRV-900, using the Firewire connector. Set the TRV-900's audio option to record in the 12-bit mode. When this is done, you will have the video re-recorded on the TRV-900 and the audio laid down on the primary 12-bit audio channel. Then, you can run the tape back through for a 2nd pass in the TRV-900, with the recorder set to the audio-dubbing mode. The audio you put into the TRV-900 this time, will be recorded on the secondary 12-bit channel. You can select either 12-bit channel when you play the edited tape back or you can mix both stereo channels into the output. Once you record on the 16-bit channel, you can't dub audio back onto that recording, without erasing the original channel, as the recording space for both 12-bit channels is occupied. You can't selectively re-record just audio onto the 16-bit channel either, without the video being re-recorded along with it. Both video and audio are sent over the same Firewire connector, so you can't input them from mixed sources, as you can with analog recordings. Only the secondary 12-bit audio channel can be used in the audio-dubbing mode. You can't dub onto the 16-bit channel or onto the primary 12-bit channel. The primary 12-bit channel can be used only when you're recording video along with it.
