check the cold water supply, either from the mains pipe, there is no water getting into the machine, if water is there up to the machine check the solenoid for circuit, to do this unplug from electric, remove lid, and test the two wires on relevant solenoid, no circuit means faulty solenoid, (test with the 2 wires removed from solenoid) take care note position of wires to put back properly answer above based on info given

If you are not sure what you are doing, call out an engineer and have the job carried out properly with safety testing at the end of the job!

does the door still lock? becasue it sounds like a faulty lock. It may need to be replaced.

The only time the lights kept flashing on my Hotpoint machine was when the outflow pipe going into the ubend was blocked,
Check for blockages, but make sure that you have a bucket or pan ready to collect the water flow.
I hope this helps

It's probably a loose connection in the wiring in the machine. Seems to be a problem with the WF741 machines and is most likely a similar issue with yours. The probability is that the vibration from the machine is enough to work some connections loose. If you have someone competent to do this, then check that all connectors are pushed firmly onto their circuit boards. (I have posted a separate reply to this issue for the WF741 model on here.) See if this helps.
