It seems that you have already did the basic troubleshooting for your laptop. Now, all I can advise is for you to bring your laptop to a service center near you to further check the circuitry and the board.
have it check with the service center, the problem is no in your hard drive, or ram. or even your monitor, it has something to do with your video card, and you'll need to take out all to cover to get access to it, so I suggest better bring it to a service center to avoid more damaged
Hi there! this is a possible power supply problem or the power button from the laptop is faulty.. But first I suggest that you use a different working power adapter that is same power supply for your laptop and try to remove the battery and try to clean the contact point of your batter, to further isolate the problem, if you did this troubleshooting and still doing the same thing I suggest that you bring ur laptop to acer for check up and repair of the power supply system of the laptop, if your laptop still under warranty, bring it to the service center right away.. if not then u can try doing the troubleshooting..
your problem is called BSOD (blue screen of death).
many thing can cause this problem.
most common thing that cause BSOD are Operating system, memory and harddrive.
sometime motherboard+cpu can cause BSOD too, but not as often as memory+hdd+OS.
you should re-installed it first, if you still have BSOD,
ask your technician to check hdd and memory, if they can check motherboard + cpu, it would be good for you,
Is it possible if i'm going to replaced the motherboard of my acer aspire laptop with other brand of motherboard like asus, compaq or others, thanks
Actually, i already tried to turn on the laptop with and without the battery while the ac adaptor was connected to the unit.
does it shut off if you only have the ac adaptor hooked up without the battery?
