Starts with the choke and then when you take the choke off the engine rpm's go wide open. when you give it gas it runs until you let off trigger.
SOUNDS LIKE THROTTLE NEEDLE STUCK OPEN CHECK THROTTLE LINKAGE STICKING OR RETURN SPRING
I'm not sure I understand the problem description but it sounds like normal behavior to me.
The saws from Husqvarna, Jonsered, Partner I'm familiar with has the following starting procedure:
1) Switch on ignition and pull the choke fully
2) Pull the starter rope a few times until it "pops", i.e ignites
3) Push in the choke *fully*
4) Pull the starter a few more strokes until the engine starts - it will have approx half speed here since there is a throttle hook-up mechanism, chain will be running
5) Push the trigger briefly to rev it up to full speed then release - this will disengage the throttle hook-up and the engine idles, chain should stop. Now it is ready to use.
This is what it is designed to do. If it misbehaves then you must give some more information for me to help you.
Good luck!

thanks for trying but it did not help at all . I wish i could give a differant description but i don't have one. not your fault do not want to lower yoor scores.
problem is not solved I just have not had time to work on it any more.I'm very good with cars problems but i **** with small engine problems. get lucky every now and then. i would like to fix my saw. it actually a 142 16 inch saw. i have taken all hoses, carb, filter and what ever elae i could find to clean and tried adjusting based on info i recieved from the net.stayed the same everytime.
I will buy a new one before I would even think about changing anything. that is what it does and it is not normal.
well when I posted the possible solution I didnt see your full description throttle screw idle screws are also a possibility
