No sound coming out of the left speaker

My TDK Headphones (model number st-100) has an issue with the left speaker, where no sound is played out of it unless I constantly adjust the headphone plug in the jack. Eventually, this method failed and no sound ever plays regardless of what I do. How do I fix this problem?

It sounds like you have a break in your cord right where it joins the plug. You will either have to replace the plug or buy new headphones.

Sound coming through right headphone, but not through left. Sound also not coming through left speaker. Help?

are you adjusting sound through the windows controller or the application you're playing music through? there are a few things that could affect that, there's also the actual sound setup where you can change your setup i.e. surround sound, single speaker, headphones etc

Left headphone no sound

Spray a little CRC in around the control an wiggle the control back and forth. It worked for me. Good Luck

The left audio channel & bass is dead.

Double-click the "speaker-volume" icon on the system-tray, to open the "sound-mixer".

Make sure that you have not "panned-100%-left" nor "panned-100%-right", so that 0% of the sound comes out from one speaker, while 100% of the sound comes out from the other speaker.

Also, make sure that no "mute" button has been selected.

Can't pair TDK BT-100 headphones to my Iphone

I managed to pair the device after plugging the bluetooth headset into the USB power slot. Then I press the main button for 5 secs until the red light started flashing very rapidly and I typed in 0000 and the headset paired off with my Iphone. Good luck

Acer Aspire 1406 no sound issue

So sometimes laptops play up when the headphone socket gets a bit worn. If you wiggle a headphone jack in the socket (put it in at different angles, and rub around) sometimes the sound will come back.

There are two prongs that "detect" the headphones, and cut the speakers... and if they don't "un-contact" when the headphones are removed, the speakers stay off.

You'd need someone to solder a new headphone socket on the mainboard to properly fix it, but if you wiggle and get the speakers back, they should stay back until you use the headphone socket again.
