Get the model number. It may have an off balance switch that is stuck. Try moving agitator like its off balance and then turn on.

Flse72gcsa won't agitate or spin

There are a few potential causes for a Frigidaire FLSE72GCSA washing machine not agitating or spinning. Here are a few things you can try:
  1. Check the washer's load balance. If the load is unbalanced, it can cause the washer to stop agitating or spinning. Try redistributing the load evenly and see if that resolves the issue.
  2. Check the drive belt. The drive belt connects the motor to the agitator and the basket. If the drive belt is worn or damaged, it can cause the washer to stop agitating or spinning.
  3. Check the motor. If the motor is not functioning properly, it can cause the washer to stop agitating or spinning.
  4. Check the lid switch. The lid switch ensures that the washer lid is closed before allowing the washer to agitate or spin. If the switch is faulty, it can cause the washer to stop agitating or spinning.
If none of these troubleshooting steps resolves the issue, you may want to consider contacting a professional appliance repair service. They will be able to diagnose the problem more accurately and recommend a solution

What does code uL mean. this comes on in the drain spin cycle

Hi, a UL error code means a load not balanced. The washer is running a load-balance correction routine. Please allow the washer to continue. If the dial is flashing and the washer has stopped, redistribute the load, close the lid, and press START/PAUSE.

My washer's digital time screen changes from the time remaining to a symbol that looks like "UL".

This error code indicates that an unbalanced load is detected.

Click the following to learn more about unbalanced loads in the BravosTM washers. The example is for an impeller washer but is applicable to washers with agitators.

Is the wash load balanced?

If the load is unbalanced, the washer will display this code while attempting to balance the load at the end of the wash cycle and before the final spin. If the code remains and the wash cycle dial is flashing after the recovery routine has stopped, open lid and redistribute the load. Close lid and press Start/Pause.

Is the washer level? Does the washer rock when pushed against the corners?

If the washer is not level, the washer may be more sensitive to unbalanced loads. The washer must be level from side to side and from front to back. The front and rear feet must be in firm contact with the floor. Make sure the locknuts are tightened. See the Installation Instructions for details.

To remove the error display, press Power/Cancel or Pause/Cancel once.

Washer spins than it gets off balance and shuts

Hi, Washing machines can become unbalanced when the wash load has too much weight in one area of the basket. A machine in good working order can handle most problems through its balancing mechanisms. However, when washing heavy single items such as comforters, the machine's tub can become so lopsided that it damages the washer.

Washing machines that get unbalanced can shake, make banging noises, and even more across the floor. When machines are secured in one place, they can vibrate and bang so much the entire house shakes and things fall off shelves. This is not good for the washer. Bolts can come loose, and parts can break.

When washing heavy items such as pillows or down coats, stay near the washer so you can correct any balance problems as they occur. Some washers have an automatic shut-off feature when they become too far off-balance. If yours does not, stop the spin cycle, open the lid, and redistribute the load. If this is a continuing problem, you may want to wash heavy items at a coin-operated laundry in a heavy-duty machine.

Take care

Load squeal when it in the agitation cycle.

Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

Stopped operating in the spin cycle

With a heavy blanket you probably have an out-of-balance condition which doesn't let the machine spin out and drain. This would keep the door lock from opening. Try hitting the Stop button twice. This should cancel the cycle and let the door lock open after a little while. Then either redistribute the load or add some items and run a Spin and Drain cycle.
