SOURCE: I keep getting a F6E5

The error code F6E5 means "Cancel key error". Press the "Cancel" and "Start" keys in the following order: CANCEL, CANCEL, START. Verify the error code displayed on the control by observing for longer then 1 minute. If the error comes back then the control board needs to be replaced..

I have a Whirlpool super capacity 465 gas oven that won't stay lit. It often lights up the first time just fine but then it turns off which is normal but when it tries to relight itself the ignitor...

That sound to me like yall have some carbon buildup on the igniter. On this stove the igniter does 2 jobs. It lights the burner and verifies back to the control that Houston we has ignition. If junk is built up on that ignitor then she won't be sending verification of ignition back to the control. That white residue needs to be removed. NOTE: I don't have your model number I am going by what you describe that this stove is a Direct spark ignition model. If you have a normal ignitor it probably is weak and not drawing 3.5 amps to open the valve. Post a model number (bottom drawer frame)

I have a whirlpool gold accubake # GJP84802, when I was using the broil on 500 F, it tripped the breaker. When I turned it back on, the lower element is not producing heat (top working). Is there a fuse...

Hi,

It sounds like your heater element is burnt out. Get a volt meter. Unplug the stove. take off the back, disconnect one of the wires connected to the element and test it. It should read approximately 11 ohms if good. If a high or no reading, the element needs replacing.
If the element is bad it is easy to change. Just slide out the stove from the wall. Take off the rear cover and just unplug or unscrew the leads from that element and replace. First make sure you unplug the stove it's self from the wall. it does have 220 volt and will hurt you. However if the new element too doesn’t work then you need to check the selector knob (COOK/BROIL) and the thermostat for the oven. To check the thermostat, turn the selector to BROIL and turn the thermostat up until the top element begins to heat. Let it heat up a little then turn the thermostat down until it clicks off. If this works then your thermostat is working.

The problem then must be your selector control. Remove and replace (turn power off at circuit breaker box first!).
Of course, if the thermostat won't turn on the upper element either then it must be the thermostat.

But above all there can be a possibility also that a loose/broken/burned wire is causing the problem. You should check for this when you open up the control panel (after turning off the circuit breaker!).

Frigidaire gallery stove, oven not working,

Morison,
The same thing happened to me about a week ago. I was preheating our electric oven, heard a very loud bang/pop. Checked and the oven had PF (power failure) I went downstairs and the breaker was tripped. Came back upstairs and to look at stove, the burners are working fine so I continued to preheat oven after a half an hour the oven was only slightly warm. Did you ever find out what was wrong?

Getting oven back on fahrenheit instead of celsius

Actually for the Whirlpool Accubake I just figured out, the bake button didn't work, but holding the broil button did the trick.

Whirlpool oven door won't open after self cleaning.

I had the same problem. Hold down any button for 1 minute. That should reset the memory.
