You have neither a 7730 (the category you asked in) or a 7433 phone sytem. If your phone is really a 7433, you have a TD phone system. Which "speed dial numbers" are you trying to program? System speed dials, are stored in system program 001 and consist of a 3 digit number (may be 2) with a "9" in front and the number as you would dial it from the keypad. Personal speed dial numbers depend on the button you're programming it onto. If it's a button with a light, you dial "2" in front of it. If not, you don't. So, Program 99, button, and either 29 + number STORE or 9+number STORE programs a personal speed dial.
There are other programs to store under the tone pad keys. Those features are covered in your User's manual for the TD system.
Here's a guess. Is the 7020 the one with 16 buttons? If so, they are marked CO 1-12 and F1-4. You program them by putting the phone in PROG from the switch on the back of the phone, then press the button and 1. If it's a F button, dial 9 + number and STORE. If it's a CO button dial 29 + number and STORE.
If you're talking SYSTEM speed dial numbers, those are done from the display phone at jack 01 and putting the system in programming.
I have an old Unisonic 9725, and the programming method for that phone may work for yours. 1. take handset 'off hook' 2. press: store 3. enter phone no. 4. press store 5. press memory button 1, 2, or 3...or 0-9 6. put handset back 'on-hook'
to use: take handset off hook, and press the memory number that applies.
Depending on the phone model, to program a specific number contained in the phone's contacts for silent mode is usually done by going to the phone's contacts > highlighting the contact > selecting 'View' > selecting 'Edit' > scrolling down and selecting 'Ringer ID' > and selecting 'Silent.'
Each number for Silent Mode must be programmed individually and not all mobile phones have this option.
Incoming calls from phones not already programmed in 'Contacts' cannot be silenced automatically unless all incoming calls are silenced automatically.
On the set you wish to reprogram, press feature 00
press the button you want to program, enter in the phone number you want. if you want to program someones extension, after pressing the button you want to program press the right intercom and the persons extension number.
Yep. Those are speed dial numbers. They are programmed from ext 101 or the main phone. Without picking up the handset, press PROG **1234 and dial 001 and ENTER. Dial your 3 digit speed dial number If there is something there, it will be displayed. A speed dial number is stored with the trunk access code in it (usually 9) so if you're putting in a new number, include the "9" plus the number exactly the way you dial it. Dial your new number with the access code and press ENTER.
Number changed :-)
You can keep putting in a whole boatload of new numbers with this procedure.
The message the phone is displaying is completely normal, Your carrier is most likely verizon so it is a CDMA network. Meaning your phone needs to be programmed for the first time with the proper MDN (mobile directory number) and the MSID. These numbers enable the phone to connect to the network to make and recieve calls. Every phone for a CDMA network will display this message before it recieves its initial programming with these two numbers.
ARE YOU PROGRAMMING PERSONAL SPEED DIALS, SYSTEM SPEED DIALS OR BUTTONS ON THE PHONE AS SPEED DIALS.
IF SYSTEM YOU MUST BE ALLOWED IN THE PROGRAMMING BY YOUR INSTALLER TO DO THESE UPGRADES. NORMALLY THE RECEPTION/ FIRST EXTENSION ON THE SYSTEM HAS THIS ABILITY. ADMIN PASSWORD IS 1234 PROGRAM 001 IS WHERE YOU PUT IN THE NUMBER AND 002 IS WHERE YOU PUT IN THE NAME
UNDER MANAGER PROGRAMMING, PAGES APPROX 210-215
sounds like the service center number may be programed incorrectly. The text messages route through a phone number that should be programed in your phone. Every carrier has a different one.
call customer care for the correct service center number for your carrier.
