With the door open, the needle plate removed and no threads in the machine, slowly turn by hand one or two revolutions & take a close look at the motion of the loopers and the needle/s, are they colliding, or is the needle becoming jammed by the black guard surrounding the lower looper ?
Ensure there are no threads or fabric debris jammed anywhere.
If it is "new" and under warantee, it would be worth a call to the dealer asking for their advice and see if they will take a look at it for you........arrange to meet with the technician if possible.

The error message relates to the motor sensing that it is working unusually hard.........the extra strain will have a physical cause, generally in the hook and bobbin region.......something blocking or slowing things down, so.......
Remove needleplate and bobbin case.
You will probably find an accumulation of lint in and around this area, also possibly in the feeddog channels.
Use a small brush and vacuum with crevice tool to remove the lint and wipe the hookrace with a tissue moistened with methylated (denatured) spirit to remove any dirt deposits.
Also check that the bobbin case is not damaged on the top surface by needle strikes or on the underside rim by the hook gouging as it spins.
If damage is present but mild, you can use very fine emery paper to smooth surface, if more severe, replace the bobbin case. Don't forget to change needles regularly too.
Best of ......

well,it seem that your upper camshaft was stuck due to several factor on mechanical linkages and maybe on gears. You have to isolate the checking since you have clean lower bobbins free from dirt and thread/fabrics chips. If there an opening on top of machine open it to check some mechanical destorsion or breakage.Check some broken gears inside. If nothing try to open also at the bottom of machine cover and there are also belt and gears connected to the motors and bobbins shuttle holder if so oil all shafting oil port, oil port bushing specially on bushing near hand wheel there is port for oil,
check also motor assembly of machine, you can disconnect belt from motor release the bolt holding motor adjust to lower tension belt and release the belt.Take some tools such as monkey pliers or small pipe wrench that can hold hand wheel just crack in order to move suddenly after oiling for several hours sometime bushing and shafting rushes emerged or if you have anti rush spray put in on.After cracking and you can move a little crack only by your hand several time lleft and right until all linkages free from rush.If you can move all parts and hand wheel rotate freely.Check also motor by rotating the small pulley conncted to motor if free to move.if ok put back and reassembly all parts disconnected.try to move again by hand if free to move after all asssembly.Run machine using foot pedal.

I had the same problem with my 9000. After my third visit to the repair shop they finally told me to always check my thread uptake lever. I have had no problems since.
