Must be the brew motor which drives the brew unit or Automat.
First step is to remove the brew unit and check how freely it can move up and down. If it is quite stiff there is probably a coffee build up behind the chamber, you can take it apart and clean it, then grease the black auger at the top and bottom before putting it back together.
If the unit is moving freely, then the chances are its a fault with the motor and will need to be replaced. The motor is what drives the gear wheel that the brew unit sits down on to....
Hope this helps.

Experiencing abnormal sound from motor

Your problem is likely the bearings in the motor shaft which wear with time. These are not usually replaceable by the owner. As the bearings warm up the noise lessens. In time the motor will burn out because of the bad bearings. If you can get motor our look for an electrical shop that rebuilds motors. The bearings are cheap but labor will be main cost. Time for replacement only about 15 minutes.

99 pontiac grand am se series 3400 liter motor i need to replace the water pump do you have to take the timing chain cover off to it looks like its all connected together

go to the library and get a book for your car with the motor you have in it.this should be a (sohc)single overhead cam motor and not the (dohc)dual overhead cam motor.the sohc motor the pump is located at the rad side of the motor and doesn`t need to have the timing cover removed.if it happens to be the dohc motor then your best to have a shop do the job as its not an easy job to do

this should be a (sohc)single overhead cam motor.this pump is located at the front of the motor towards the rad.thus you don`t remove the timing cover and easy to replace, once you remove the serpintine belt then the pulley on the pump then there are about 6 bolts that you remove to change the pump.if its the (dohc)motor i strongly suggest you have a shop do the job as its not an easy job to do and if you don`t get the timing belts timed exactly you will be sending the heads to the machine shop to repair.

I have a minkk kota riptide salt water bow mount trolling motor. The motor functioned properly last time out. This time the motor failed to come on. one of the batteries was found to be bad and...

Many times on the battery lead, actually the part that tightens to the battery, has a circuit breaker. You will notice a small reset button on each positive lead....of course there are two for a 24v system. Reset each one!

Ac/heater blower motor issues

Replace the motor and resistor at the same time. A motor that has too much resistance will blow the resistor out every time. Been there done that. I've sold a lot of resistors and they had no warranty unless you replaced the motor too.

Noisy motor on Dyson Vacuum Cleaner and how long should a motor last Roy

A motor can last a long time or a short time, there is no way to predict how long one will last. Most times it is dust has gotten into the motor bearings and they get nosiey. Replacing the motor is the only cure.

DRYER STOPS

could be thermal overload in motor its a motor protector in the motor when the motor gets hot it cuts power to the motor when motor cools it closes and resets age of drier counts some times you can take drier apart and blow dust out of motor and will fix now if the door is not closing tight vibration can cause door switch to break contact that will do it too most of time motor or relay must be replaced
