Lanier LD335c shows SC990 when connected to network

LD335c. I moved it from one office to another. Different network. Now I get a SC990 whenever I connect the network. Works fine without the network cable connected but as soon as I plug it in a 990 pops up. It's obviously a setting but I'm lost. Any Ideas?

Check IP address sub net, ect?

Testimonial: "Yes, I checked all of those. They are exactly the same as all of the other machines in the office that are connected to the network. Very strange!! I used this machine on the other network before moving it and it worked fine."

SOURCE: Dell 3000cn Network Connection not working

First of, the ethernet must be 'on'. If dhcp available, set it to auto (or dhcp.. anyways..) and let it reboot, just in case :)
if not, try setting the IP-setting yourself. They should be somewhat similar to the settings on your local computer(s).

To add the printer to your computer, select 'Local' printer and specify 'tcp/ip' as which port its connected to. In the new window the ip to the printer should be entered. :) (at least for XP this is..)

Hope this gave you the correct solution..

SOURCE: Network Connection (LAN) for HP 650C

I have a HP 650C, I just bought a Parallel to USB adapter on Ebay. It can plug straight into a computer and then be shared. I also have network card on a HP 750C+ and have it connected straight to my router through an Ethernet connection and it works fine.

LD335c Networking causing SC990

You need to check the network address of the newly connected network. you said it was connected to a network A (e.g. 192.168.1.0 subnet mask 255.255.255.0 or /24) and now you are connected to network B (e.g. 192.168.2.0 subnet mask 255.255.255.0 or /24). Your device had an ip address assigned in the old network, could be 192.168.1.99 this ip can not communicate with the new network 192.168.2.0, you need fir to find out what is the new network address and subnet you need to ask your network admin. and then modify the setting of your router to be part of the new network.

How do I get my Ace laptop to connect to my wifi? It shows that it's connected to the internet and it work in my office, but when I step out of the room it won't stay connected.

Hello,

When you are within a region of discoverable network, you would be able to connect to that network's internet access. But if that network is weak, there is a possibility that when you move out of range of the network, there would be a fluctuation or disconnection. So, if you must use the wireless in the office, check that the signal strenght is high. If it is not, aviod moving about.
You may not be able to access your office network when you are out of the office.

Hope that helped?

Network error CE-02

You didn't tell me enough about the problem. Are you trying to scan from a PC or to a PC? The problem is that the network address changed when you moved the printer. You can fix this by correcting the network address

Unable to print more than 3 copies of anything

What error if any do you get? Sounds like your printer needs a firmware update.
