Inkjet printers have a fibrous pad inside them that collects the waste ink from cleaning the print head. Over time, this pad fills up with ink and can no longer hold any more. When this occurs, the printer indicates a "waste ink tank full" error.

The waste ink absorption pads are inside the printer, in the very bottom. They are usually soaked with ink when full and are very messy.

Replacing the waste ink absorption pads is something an authorized canon service facility can take care of for you.

How do I remove the Waste Ink Absober and do I

The waste ink pads are under the printer and cover the whole bottom of the case. You need to remove the scanner from the top, the side covers, the main case middle cover, unplug all cables from the logic board, lift the print engine up and out and replace the pads. After that you need the service mode to reset the counter if it runs after re assembly.

What is the wasted ink collector? A sentence appears when I try to print out a page. It tells me that the collector for the wasted ink is nearly full.

there is a waste ink tank that stores excess ink from the printing process.

it is almost full and would need to be cleaned or replaced. and then the printer needs to be reset. Recommend Canon service for that problem, there are instructions for it posted online if you care to look around.

The waste ink collector is full how do I empty it?

The absorber is under the print assembly, it is a pad and can't be emptied. It is a shop repair since you have to use Canon diagnostics to reset the count and clear the error.

The waste ink collector/tank is nearly full

The ink collector should be found underneath where the cartridges normally rests. Put some tissue paper on the ink padand let it absorb the ink. You might have to repeat the procedure a few times to get rid of all the ink.
