can you restore to factory settings?

it may need new battery...even if battery is dead it will still display apple sign but wont sync or charge.

What is the error code exactly are there any numbers? With the exact error message this should be an easy fix

Put it on autosync or tick all the box's songs you want and manually press sync button on the right bottom corner.
Make sure ur ipod is plugged in

tried to turn it on but it doesnt work, so i tried to charge it but it doesnt work so i dont know whats wrong with my ipod..

yes try formating it and start from the begining itunes will restore youe settings

your computer has its own personal i-tunes for your i-pod and all your music is saved to that computer so if you plug your i-pod into someone elses computer it will eighther sync all thier music to your i-pod or it will erase all the music on your i-pod they dont have on thier computer...my sujjestion is to buy a plug in to the wall charger for your i-pod if your barely home to charge it. that way you keep your music yet charge your i-pod to.
