Shouldn't the floor be left dry. i just got this not too long ago, but i understood that it would dry also. could it be that the squeegee thing isn't attached quite right or that it needs replaced. it wasn't brand new when i got it.
There are only a few things that can cause the condition you describe. First would be to verify that the vacuum/blower motor is running. You can test this by placing your hand on the floor opposite the side where the charger is connected and see if you feel air movement. If no air is felt, there's your problem. Second, there is a valve located in the dirty tank that if blocked will prevent water pick-up. To resolve and clear this condition will require several processes to occur at once. Fill the dirty tank half way with hot water, add Scooba cup of vinegar. Close the stopper and shake the "Good Grief" out of the tank. This action is necessary and may have to be repeated several times to clear the flapper valve in the dirty tank. Third, there may be a poor seal between the tank and the Scooba base. Verify that both the left and right sides of the tank are close to the base and equal in distance. If the right side is farther away from the tank (larger gap) then water pick up will be poor. Some Scoobe owners resort to using duct tape to hold down the tank. Fourth, verify that the thin rubber pieces on the bottom of the tank are not deformed and properly seated in the grooves. hope this helps
This helped - I didn't realize it was all clogged up with junk- the shaking the "good grief" out of it worked!

Your suggestion worked great...my Scooba is now picking up water again! Thank you!
I saw somewhere a solution about Scooba not picking up dirty water. I saw the user recommended cleaning Scooba orifices with a little thing called TurboSnake which is cheap. I used it and omg, I removed a lot of gunk from inside. It was clogging the system for sure.
I noticed now my Scooba gets really dirty water in the dirty tank!!!
Whoever posted that suggestion, thank you so much

My rather new Scooba started leaving water and dirt on the floor. I ordered and installed the brush/filter/squeegee replacement kit and it improved somewhat. Now, it's just pushing the dirt around and picking up some dirty water but leaving the floor quite wet. The small mesh filter comes out completely clean and dry, leading me to believe some vacuum mechanism may not be operating. When doing a thourough cleaning and shaking of the tank today, I found much debris and hair stuck above the outlet inside the dirty tank.
Help. My love of my Scooba is turning to frustration. The entire house is tiled.
The entire tank of water is left on the floor after the cleaner is finished running. Since I need to mop up the water with many towels, it really isn't saving me time in the cleaning process. Plus I now need to wash all of those towels when I'm done.
I love my Scooba when it works right.
