When I click "Print" paper feeds through the printer, but nothing prints

When I try to print, the computer and printer operate as they always have, but the page comes through blank. The message I get is "Right hand cartridge incorrect." The right hand cartridge is the color cartridge is the color cartridge and it is still at least half full. It is not just that it doesn't print in color, it doesn't print anything at all. I Click print to print a document and the printer acts as if everything is fine. the paper goes in, and it makes all the right 'printing' noises. But when the paper comes out, it is always blank. When i print a diagnostic page or something, its fine. What do i do?

Try to reload your catridge on the carrier or cartridge holder..
and clean your printer tab circuit and also the cartridge tab circuit and run maintenance page on it..

Mfc 7860dw will not print from paper tray

Check the paper level in tray 1 and keep the paper within the levels indicated by the arrows on the side. I had this same problem, and although the paper tray accommodates the extra paper, the printer obviously does not like it and defaults to the manual feed.

Its prints one page at a time and a pop up appears that says "press cancel button (manual feed mode)". I do this and nothing happens. Why will it not just print the entire document at one time? I...

You need to change the default tray. Thats the reason its printing one page at a time. You can change the default tray to draw paper from two ways, by using the controls on the printer itself or by changing the settings when you print a document.

To change it on the printer, go to menu on the printers keys and scroll the options until you find the print settings. Use the up and down arrows to scroll and press enter or OK when you find print settings. Continue to scroll until you see the default paper tray and change it from the manual feed choice to the default paper tray.

If changing from the print settings in the computer, when in a document that you want to print go to file at the top of the page and then print and click on preferences. Click the tabs at the top until you see the paper tray that is currently being used and click the arrow next to it to change it to another. Then click "ok" and close everything.

Can't print business cards. Won't feed from rear tray.

I just spend over an hour on the phone with Canon for the same problem... the resolution is simple. From the Control Panel, select Printers & Faxes. Right-click the mp620 printer, and select Properties. Select Printing Preferences from the bottom of the General tab, then click the Page Setup tab. Choose Print Options at the bottom. Place a check mark in the box next to "Disable the paper source setting of the application software." Click OK 3 times and the problem should be solved.

Can't print onto thick card

Have you tried specifying the paper type and weight INSTEAD of the tray. Set the tray properties first, then print. If you leave it on auto tray it will use the tray that matches your paper type and weight.
